📝 Quick Assembly Cheat Sheet
- Keep these quick reference steps handy while you craft along with our video tutorial:
- Print & Prep: Download your template from the CraftClub, print it out, and carefully cut out all the bat pieces (0:00).
- Score the Base: Start by making the horizontal folds on the bat’s main body, then fold the diagonal guide lines cleanly across the center (0:39).
- Build the Flapping Mechanism: Take the center of those diagonal folds and pinch them inward to form the flapping mechanism (0:54). They should collapse neatly into two triangles (0:54).
- Add the Collar: Put a quick spot of glue onto the small neck ruff piece and stick it firmly into place near the head (1:06).
- Attach the Top Wings: Apply glue to the designated areas on the wings and line them up perfectly with the diagonal fold lines on the bat’s body (1:18). Repeat this step on the other side (1:32).
- Ready for Takeoff: Fold your completed bat up, hold the base mechanism, and watch him flap and fly(1:32)!
