Papel picado means ‘punched’ or ‘perforated’ paper, and traditionally made from colored tissue paper and cut using chisels.

Easy to assemble tin can label decorations!

We used crepe paper in lovely, vibrant colors. Crepe is a little more robust and easier to use than tissue paper. It also means that your papel picado flags will last longer so you can use them again at the next party!

We have also put together some printable Cinco de Mayo food can labels featured in the photo above.

You will need:

Crepe paper in at least 3 colors
Scissors
Glue stick
Kebab sticks
