Quick Step-by-Step Guide to making a Dragon puppet
Follow the video timeline to build your dragon seamlessly:
- Cut & Color:
Pick your favorite color scheme, fill in the sugar skull designs around the dragon’s head, and cut out the template pieces (0:13). - Build the Base:
Fold the triangle templates along the dotted lines and insert the included reinforcement panels to ensure your puppet is sturdy (1:07). Glue the tabs to create the top and bottom jaw sections, then connect them (2:05). - Assemble the Head:
Add the reinforcement panels and handy placement guides to the back of the dragon head (2:23). - Attach to the Base:
Use plenty of glue or double-sided tape to attach both sides of the dragon head, the lower jaws, and the matching middle panel to the underlying mechanics (2:54). - Final Touches:
Give the paper tongue a quick curl, glue it inside the mouth, attach the decorative whiskers, and your dragon is ready to talk (4:53)!
