Make a beautiful paper flower crown for Day of the Dead

Create a gorgeous Frida Kahlo inspired flower crown for Day of the Dead, using just paper! The templates and tutorial are part of our Day of the Dead Craft Activity pack.

With a few simple steps you can create your own unique and stunning paper crown:

Firstly, color and cut out your paper flowers

The craft pack includes templates for flowers, skeleton hands, spiders, moths and butterflies to choose from.

Follow the easy instructions to make blooms of all shapes and sizes…

then cut, color and fold a pair of calavera hands….

...and top your creation off with a jewelled spider or butterfly!

All you'll need to make your crown is Happythought's flower crown template, printed on to white card, paints or pencils, scissors, a glue stick and sticky tape.
